The Thursday before the Friday premiere of the Water For Elephants movie (based on Sara Gruen‘s best-selling novel, Water for Elephants), Algonquin staff and members of the North Carolina literary community were treated to a preview screening of the much anticipated film.

  1. Oh! What an event! I had a mini one in Singapore the day the movie opened here and took four very important viewers: my husband Dale, my cousin Ken, my neighbor Doyle and me.
We loved our screening…and the movie, especially Rosie.
