In Bill Roorbach’s The Remedy for Love, a wealthy lawyer offers a woman a ride to her isolated cabin just as a paralyzing snowstorm is about to hit their rural Maine town.
Brock Clarke’s The Happiest People in the World follows a misguided political cartoonist—now an international fugitive hiding from terrorists—to a remote town in upstate New York that is riddled with spies.
A teenager disappears during a family vacation in Descent, by Tim Johnston, a literary thriller about family ties and a heart-pounding fight for survival.
In Gregory Sherl’s The Future for Curious People, characters in the near future are able to see their romantic compatibility with a significant other before they agree to commit.

Glad to see Lin Enger is publishing again. I am a huge fan of his earlier novel, UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY. The new Tim Johnston novel also looks intriguing. Thank you for the opportunity to read this great new line up of novels.
Love all things Algonquin, so I know I’ll love these too.
