Congrats to Robert Morgan!
I read Gap Creek years ago when it was an Oprah book. I knew then that I had discovered a new favorite author. Just this year I read The Truest Pleasure,and it only confirmed what I already knew…that Robert Morgan knows the mountains and the people who live there. Am looking forward to reading this newest addition,whether I am lucky enough to be sent a copy or purchase it for myself.
I have not read any of Robert Morgan’s books, but we are both from NC, approximately the same age, and attended the same colleges. With the mountains and Appalachia as the background, I know that his writing will be appealing. Can’t wait to read this book.
Gap Creek…my all-time favorite book and the way I discovered Algonquin! I’ve read every single book Robert Morgan has written. Sooo excited to learn of this new book!

My daughter gave me a copy of “Gap Creek” and I believe I have read it four time. I loved it and am looking forward to reading Mr. Morgan’s new book.
