Name That Bat
It’s official: We’re going batty here at the Algonquin offices! We found our new bat friend perched on the exit sign around lunchtime today.
Craig Popelars, Algonquin’s director of marketing, sales and animal containment, scooped up the bat and set him free. Craig has been dubbed Batman, but we still don’t have a name for the bat. Any suggestions? Name that bat in the Comments field below, and we’ll randomly pick a winning name and give you a Nature (Principle) prize.

My nephews and neice came up with the name “Belfry”
Sonar, Echo, Mr. Knightley (or Mr. Nightly), Slugger, GalleyBat, Bat King Coal, Booker
Case, in honor of Frank Case who named the Algonquin Hotel.
Although, Parker has a nice ring to it as well.
Or maybe just Larry. I think Larry Brown would slyly grin at a “Bacardi-looking” bat with literary interests being named after him.
