What a way to start BEA!
The good people of Algonquin have descended on New York City for Book Expo America, and we’re looking forward to seeing all our bookselling friends at our booth, #839-939. We’ve fabulous authors and fabulous books — if we do say so ourselves — so please stop by. (And we’ve got limited-edition T-shirts, too!)
Here’s a schedule of Thursday’s highlights:
10am: Alice Hoffman (yes, that Alice Hoffman) takes over the Algonquin booth and signs copies of Survival Lessons. We have special Survival Lessons T-shirts for the first 100 people in line.
12:15pm: This one’s not in our booth, but an appearance by the immitable Lee Smith is always worth mentioning. Lee will be speaking about her upcoming novel, Guests on Earth, to the folks at the AAP Librarian Lunch.
1:30pm: New York Times bestselling author of A Friend of the Family, Lauren Grodstein signs copies of The Explanation for Everything at the Algonquin booth, #839/939
