Congratulations Arcade Fire and Merge Records!
Congratulations to Arcade Fire, who brought home the Album of the Year award for “The Suburbs” at last night’s Grammy Awards. They beat out favorites Eminem and Lady Antebellum to win the biggest prize in mainstream music. Arcade Fire is signed to Merge Records, an independent record label that is the topic of Our Noise, The Story of Merge Records. To celebrate, we’re giving away 3 copies of Our Noise. And the Grammys have one more deserved win… that makes two! Their album told a story, had a theme, was strong top to bottom. They got rewarded for creating a cohesive piece of art and entertainment, instead of a hodgepodge of singles.
