Pub Day: We Love You, Charlie Freeman

“This sharp and powerful debut novel will floor you.”

We couldn’t agree more with Bustle.com’s assessment of We Love You, Charlie Freeman.

From the Boston Globe: “Race and language are thorny topics, and certainly not the fare of most coming-of-age novels. But in her disturbing debut, We Love You, Charlie Freeman, Kaitlyn Greenidge tackles them both, linking them inextricably to the story of a young African-American woman whose family becomes the focal point in an increasingly strange experiment. …Greenidge…succeeds in large part because her voices are so dead-on.”

Elle.com praises We Love You, Charlie Freeman as “thoughtful construction, precise prose, and a beating heart.”

Minneapolis Star-Tribune attributes her success to “descriptive powers, lively dialogue and a fluid, engaging style.” Greenidge,-Kaitlyn-©-Syreeta-McFadden_2MB

  1. I want to buy a signed copy of this and have tried the places where she’s already read, to no avail.

Can’t you organize some way to inform us where the whole book tour will be so I can try the stores still to come?

I tried looking at your twitter feed but the only thing up in the top posts is about Porter Square at the top. I’m not going to read the entire twitter feed to find this. Can’t you list ALL the stores here on your website to help this author get people out to her readings or help those who want to order a signed book?
